Wheely bad idea! Motorist tries to drive away despite his car being CLAMPED outside luxury hotel

  • Unnamed driver was stuck with yellow clamp outside Sheraton Park Tower
  • Defiantly tried to drive forward, then reverse, with clamp still attached
  • After he realised what had happened, he walked away from the car

This is the moment a defiant driver tried to ignore the huge yellow clamp attached to his car and drive away from a luxury London hotel.

The unnamed driver pull away from the Sheraton Park Tower but only got a few feet before the triangular impediment started to tear his vehicle apart.

Bystanders laughed as he reserved back into place, then tried to drive off again, with the clamp grinding the wheel arches of his Toyota Prius.

Eventually a bystander comes to the window to make sure he knows why he is having little luck driving away.

After realising his predicament, the man gets out of his car and walks away.

It is not clear who clamped the vehicle, though a Sheraton spokesman told MailOnline it wasn't the hotel.
