Pair who forgot their corkscrew attempt to open a bottle of red wine… with a GIANT STICK

Two men who realised they had forgotten their corkscrew attempted to open their bottle in a very creative way - which unfortunately had disastrous results.

After forgetting their bottle opener a pair of would-be drinkers from Russia decided to find an unique method of getting stuck into their wine - by hitting it with a stick.

However it does not go as smoothly as planned and after one of the men pummels the top of the glass bottle with a huge stick, it explodes in one of their hands and all over the group.

One of the would-be drinkers, who is out of the camera shot, picks up a large stick from the surrounding woodland area and starts to bash the bottom of the bottle.

Looking down at the bottle the pair continue their efforts before a final thud on the base causes the glass to break.

As a result the bottle completely shatters and the wine pours onto the ground and sprays onto one of the pair's jeans.

Both look disappointed as they realise that their attempts have failed disastrously.
