Sam Asghari has joined the cast of the upcoming action-comedy flick Grand Death Lotto.
The news about the 29-year-old actor was revealed on Monday by Deadline, and it was also reported that several other performers had been added to the lineup of the Paul Feig-directed feature.
The husband of Britney Spears, who recently denied that there was any trouble in his marriage, has not shared any details about the character he is set to portray.
Asghari shared a post to his Instagram account where he expressed that it was 'an honor and an absolute pleasure' to be able to work on the feature.
He also wrote that Feig was an 'Uber-talented' director that was leading what he described as a 'Kick a** cast.'

The actor shared an image to his Instagram Story that showed a pair of chairs, one of which featured his name and was positioned next to another that belonged to John Cena.
The performer also added a text graphic to his post that read: 'Am I dreaming?'
It was previously revealed that Grand Death Lotto was in development last month.
The film is centered on a woman who inadvertently comes into possession of a lottery ticket worth billions of dollars that is only redeemable if the individual in possession of the ticket survives until sundown.
She then enlists the help of a bodyguard to keep her safe from potential assailants, as well as a fellow hired gun looking to kill her and earn a commission.
The cast of the feature will be led by Awkwafina, as well as Cena and Simu Liu, who portray the rival bodyguards.
Other performers who have been cast alongside Asghari include Leslie David Baker, Seann William Scott and Becky Ann Baker.
Feig previously issued a statement where he expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming project.

He stated via Deadline: 'I love action comedy and extreme physical comedy and this movie has both in abundance, as well as a boatload of heart and hilarity. This lotto will make winners of us all.'
Amazon and MGM Studios' head, Jennifer Salke, described the movie as 'the kind of original idea audiences have been craving.'
The upcoming feature entered the physical production stage late last month.
Grand Death Lotto's release date has not been revealed to the public as of yet.
