Hollyoaks SPOILER: Donna-Marie reaches breaking point and heads down a dark path from her past after feeling isolated from her family
Hollyoaks' Donna-Marie is set to go down a dark path from her her past as she struggles with feeling continually isolated from her family.
The former drug addict, played by Lucy-Jo Hudson, had already been feeling dejected after daughter Juliet opted to take girlfriend Perri to Germany for her stem cell transplant instead of her.
And with Juliet gone, son Romeo choosing his girlfriend Rayne over his family and Ste and James busy with wedding planning and work, Donna-Marie has been feeling more alone than ever.
In upcoming scenes, the gym owner has been desperate for some one to talk to, however, James is been struggling with his conscience over working with Eric, so finds little time to console Donna-Marie.
After struggling to cope, she leaves an emotional voicemail for Juliet.

Later, the mum continues to spiral and with no one making time for her, she struggle with being alone with her own thoughts.
Wanting to do something nice for her daughter upon her return, Donna-Marie reaches out to James for help.
But with James' head elsewhere amid being blackmailed by incel Eric, his patience wears thin and he snaps at the crumbling mother.
With his anger over Eric boiling over, he takes things out on Donna-Marie as he reminds her of all the mistakes she made as a parent.
Feeling worse than ever, Donna-Marie hits rock bottom as she takes a trip down a dark old familiar road.
Desperate to forget everything she's feeling, she calls former client Harold.
However, her daughter Juliet is soon in for a nasty shock as she arrives home at the worst possible moment.
Emotions are soon running high as in a heart-breaking moment, a distressed Juliet tells her mum that she’s a screw up.

But unable to handle his guilt, James admits his part in Donna-Marie's downward spiral.
Later back at the Lomax’s, Leela reminds a shaken Juliet that her mum is vulnerable and has had a lot on her mind and instead of making her feel more isolated that she already is, she needs to show empathy and support.
Juliet soon heeds Leela's words as she son pleading with her mum not to return to her past, reminding her how much she is loved.
Elsewhere, James is crushed with the worry that he might lose both Donna-Marie and Juliet.
But when fiancé when Ste tries to comfort him, he’s unable to contain his guilty conscience anymore and regretting his recent selfish actions, he blurts out tthat he has deceived Maxine into visiting Eric.

She tells her girlfriend that they need to come clean to their families that she didn’t have the stem cell transplant.
How long will Juliet keep her shock news from her family?
And will Donna-Marie be able to overcome her demons once more?
Hollyoaks airs Mondays to Fridays at 6:30pm on Channel 4, and first look episodes at 7pm on E4.
