Ed Gamble leaves Celebrity Hunted viewers in hysterics as he dials into his radio show while on the run with James Acaster - before being branded the 'worst fugitive EVER'

Celebrity Hunted fans were left in hysterics following Tuesday's episode, as Ed Gamble risked exposing his location by dialling into his radio show.

The comedian usually hosts a show on Radio X on Sundays, and despite being on the run, decided to dial into the show and taunt the Hunters about his mystery location.

However, the tide was quickly turned as host Matthew Crosby revealed that Chief Hunter Lisa Theaker had also called into the show, and she quickly branded him the 'worst fugitive ever.'

Ed has joined forces with James Acaster in a bid to outrun the Hunters in Hunted's Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special.

Despite their hilarious failures during their fugitive journey, the episode ended with the pair still at large and determined to reach the final meeting point.

Ed had made a surprise apprarance on his radio show while on the run from the Hunters, bragging that he and James were calling in from an undisclosed location and the Hunters were 'thick' and had failed to track him down.

However, at one point host Matthew appeared to let slip that he was 'in Manchester,' before frantically trying to correct himself.

While Ed appeared confident that the Hunters had no clue where he and James were hiding, he was stunned when it was revealed that Chief Hunter Lisa was on the line.

She declared: 'Oh my god I would say he is the worst fugitive we have ever had in the history of Hunted.

'We've been playing with him a little bit, we've tracked his movements. Ed is holding James back a little bit.'

Ed then added: 'I think it's interesting that the chief there seems to htink she's getting in my head for saying that.

'I'm well aware we're terrible fugitives and we're having an absolute laugh at their expense.'

With James and Ed ending the episode still on the run, their radio cameo left many viewers in hysterics.
