Veteran newsreader Sandra Sully reveals her most embarrassing live TV moment after more than 30 years on air: 'I could barely finish the bulletin'
Sandra Sully has recalled one of her most embarrassing live TV moments after more than three decades on air.
The veteran newsreader revealed on the I've Got News For You podcast, she once struggled to finish a bulletin about a kangaroo 'playing with his testicles.'
[At the end of my broadcast], I would throw to sport and they had a play of the day,' the Channel 10 presenter explained.
'I generally got a chance to look at it and one time I was busy and they didn't put it in the rundown and they waited till I was on air. I didn't even get a chance to check the pictures.'
'[The story] was a golf tournament and there was a mob of Kangaroos on the course. Play had to be halted because this kangaroo decided to play with his testicles.'

Sandra explained she wasn't expecting it and couldn't finish her news bulletin.
'It was international coverage and the team put music to it. I wasn't expecting it and I could barely finish the bulletin. It was about 11.30pm,' she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Sandra revealed she used to have a tattoo on her tooth.
'I had a daisy tattoo on my tooth and it has since been removed. I had this ceramist and when he knew he was making a crown for me, he put a daisy on my crown,' she explained.
'But I've had to have the crown replaced.'

It comes months after Sandra was unwittingly caught in a live TV fail after 10 News First accidentally aired blooper footage.
The clip shows the newsreader becoming tongue-tied while trying to report a story about Florida's latest hurricane evacuation orders.
Sully appeared frustrated as she fumbled over her words, shuffling her papers and looking down.
The screen then suddenly cut to black, before commercials began to play.
Bizarrely, footage of Sully's blooper was then played for a second time. It then suddenly speed up, played in reverse, and finally cut to black.
Sully's blooper had actually been pre-recorded in Sydney hours before it aired in Brisbane, according to TV Blackbox.

It didn't go unnoticed, as several viewers subsequently aired their confusion on Twitter.
'Channel 10 News is having issues', one tweeted, as another wrote: 'Hope all is well with Sandra Sully - TV is doing some weird jumps.'
Sully eventually responded after one viewer speculated that her blooper was 'a dry run that was being broadcast by accident'.
'Not at all tbh - just a few technical hiccups tonight folks - thanks for staying with us,' she replied.
