Paloma Faith admits she feels 'really alone' while lying in bed at night after split from husband of six years Leyman Lahcine
Paloma Faith has opened up on her split from her ex-husband Lyman Lahcine, admitting she feels 'really alone' while lying in bed at night.
The singer and mother-of-two, 42, married the French artist, 36, in 2017, with rumours of their breakup first surfacing in November 2022.
Appearing on Thursday's episode of Lorraine, Paloma chatted with the host about being single again while raising her daughters who are six and two.
She said: 'As a mum it's so hard. Now I'm on my own with the kids it's so easy to go, "here's a screen," but we need to interact through play and cultivate their imagination.'
'I'm dreaded the day they don't want to play with me, it's going too fast already.'

'They don't have a clue what I do for a living, I am just mum. I'm just ignored.'
Paloma's latest single is called How To Leave A Man and the star discussed the loneliness that can come after a breakup.
She said: 'I'm still going through it. It's the first time I've promoted something that I am still experiencing.
'I'm not doing much acting on this I'm just upset and crying. It doesn't take much for me to tune into those feelings.
'When you're at home, especially at night when the kids are in bed you feel really alone.'
It comes after Paloma opened up about the split for the first time. According to The Sun, she said: 'In the last few years I've come closer to failure, to despair, to grief and loss than ever in my life.
'I had a choice: I could disappear into my melancholy or I could wear it as a badge of honour.
'It wasn't an option for me to stop in my tracks and break down. I have two children. I am and always will be the breadwinner - a source of strength and support for many others.

'And I wasn't happy, I wasn't mentally well, and I had to do something about it.'
Looking ahead to dating other people, she added: 'I’ll never be perfect so if that’s what you want, go find someone else that you’ll cheat on. Be boring.
'It’s never boring with me. Maybe annoying, maybe irritating, maybe stressful. But not boring.'
Ahead of her new single How You Leave A Man, Paloma, who has since moved on with new boyfriend Andrew Soar, also revealed she had to ask Lyman for permission as the single includes pointed digs towards him.
The singer has also revealed that one of the tracks on the album called Divorce, is the 'hardest to hear' for her.
Paloma went on to add that despite her painful break-up, she has had to 'rip of the plaster' to remain strong for her children, as she still has to face Lyman on the regular.
