Flirty Fergie kicks up her heels in sassy new shoot for Lucky magazine

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has put her flirty side on show in new shoot for Lucky magazine.

The 36-year-old posed for the publication to promote her new footwear line and she even modelled a pair from the range in one shot.

Shoe design seems a natural fit for the star, who admits to owning a rather impressive collection.

The star adored her heels - and her wardrobe - so much that she couldn't bare to part with them.

'For years I held on to everything I got,' she explained. 'Part of me thought it might all go away.'

But it would seem things are finally beginning to change for the star, who says she is now happy to detach herself from her possessions.

Fergie explained: 'Just because you get things for free doesn’t mean you have to save them.'

She proudly revealed: 'I've purged 200 pairs of shoes.'

And it would seem her friends are reaping the rewards of her recent lifestyle change as she now wastes no time in letting them take their pick from her designer wardrobe.

She said: 'One of my bedrooms is filled with clothes, and when people come over, I give them a trash bag and a glass of wine, then say, ‘Go!’'

And it would seem Fergie's marriage to Transformers actor, Josh Duhamel was a real turning point.

The pair married in a private ceremony in 2009 and she says it has been plain sailing ever since.

Josh, 38, allowed his wife to take over an entire floor of their Los Angeles home to accommodate her ever expanding designer wardrobe. She joked, he calls it 'Fergie Land'.

The pint-sized singer also says she uses her enviable designer wardrobe to makes sure her enormous 6'3.5" husband doesn't overshadow her.

'Platforms are my favourite heels for the summer because they give you a long leg. I like to wear tall heels so when my husband, Josh, kisses me, I don’t have to stand on my tiptoes.'

On keeping her man hot on her high heels, she revealed the key is her signature scent, Outspoken.

The star says she makes sure her perfume never fades by spraying it in her glossy locks before leaving the house.

The tip was passed on to her a few years ago by a Los Angeles club promoter, and she says: 'I like to spray Outspoken, my perfume by Avon, on my hair. That’s a trick I learned. It makes the scent last longer.'

She also confessed that she finds it really difficult to maintain her famously flat stomach and has always found it to be the trickiest area of her body to tone up.

'It’s funny because my abs are one of the most difficult parts for me.' she said.

She works hard to target that area and said: 'I jog and jump rope. If you concentrate on holding you abs in the whole time, you can really see the difference.'

The June issue of Lucky magazine goes on sale on May 10, 2011.
