Like mother, like son: January Jones steps out with Xander in matching fedora hats as they enjoy a sunny walk in the golden state
She stars as traditional 1960s housewife Betty Draper in the American sitcom Mad Men.
But abandoning the circle skirt and apron, she decided to wear a felt fedora for her outing with son Xander in Loz Feliz, California, on Saturday.
The 36-year-old was spotted carrying around her two-year-old son on the bright day - and even decided to dress him in a matching fedora hat for their mother and son day out.
We match! January held her coffee as Xander ran on ahead wearing a matching hat to his mum
Running off ahead of his mum, an excited Xander played around with his blue felt hat, with white ribbon, which was teamed with a black and white-striped top, long blue shorts with a pair of brown pumps with red laces.
A confident and in control January walked behind her son, dressed in a similarly casual and colour-coordinated ensemble, with a light grey jumper, skinny denim jeans and a pair of black leather lace-up boots.
January wore a leather strap bag across her shoulder, and protected her eyes with a pair of tortoise shell sunglasses - finishing off the look with her black felt fedora.
Peekaboo: Xander's eyes are covered by his large hat as he tries to run ahead of his mum
The fair-haired star kept her short golden locks loose underneath her hat, while shielding her porcelain skin from the sun and wore little make-up to finish off the look.
She made sure that she finished off her takeaway cup of coffee before carrying her son, whose father still remains a mystery as January still remains silent regarding his identity.
The star was noticeably left out of this year's X-Men: Days of Future Past, despite the diamond telepath surviving the 2011 prequel.
Carrying on: January Jones carries her son Xander around Los Feliz in California on Saturday
'I haven’t been asked back,' January explained to Collider last year.
'It's called Days of Future Past or something. No, they're going into another time period, or they're going back and forth from a different time period and Emma's not in that. Not in what they're doing.'
January will, however, be reprising her two-time SAG Award-winning character Betty Draper on AMC's Mad Men.
The seventh and final season will be split into two seven-episode parts, beginning April 13 and ending in 2015.
Filled with sunshine: The pair enjoyed a walk in the sunshine, and Xander even found a stick to play with
According to The Wrap, the hit AMC show's cast will appear together live at PaleyFest on March 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Other shows which will be featured at PaleyFest are Orange is the New Black, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Pretty Little Liars, Veep and the Lost: 10th Anniversary Reunion.
The Sweet Vengeance star will next provide her voice for the four-part enlightenment documentary Unity - due out March 1 - alongside Jennifer Aniston, Susan Sarandon, and Joaquin Phoenix.
