He looked far from pleased after being handed a fine for possession of illegal substances on Friday afternoon, but the smile returned later that night as James Lock stepped out with girlfriend Danielle Armstrong.
The 27-year-old wore a sober grey suit as he arrived at Romford Magistrates Court, where he handed a fine for possessing 702mg of ketamine – a horse tranquiliser with hallucinogenic properties – in February.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of possession and criminal damage after he and another male were involved in a dispute with a taxi driver in Dagenham.

TOWIE star Lock pleaded guilty for the possession of a Class C substance, an offence that carried a maximum sentence of three months in prison.

Instead, he was given conditional discharge and told to pay £85 court costs before leaving court looking stony-faced ahead of his night out with Danielle.
However, he was back on form after meeting up with the attractive blonde for dinner and drinks at The Brickyard.

Danielle looked colourful in a sleeveless peach minidress that offset the deep tan she picked up during a recent trip to Marbella with the TOWIE cast.
Lock looked dapper I na blazer jacket and white shirt matched with skinny jeans and tasselled loafers.
Strolling arm in arm with Danielle he looked upbeat and significantly more cheerful as he leaned in to give her an affectionate kiss on the lips.

After Lock’s arrest a Metropolitan police spokesman told MailOnline: 'Police were called at approximately 0245hrs on Sunday, 9 February to reports of a dispute in Foxlands Crescent, Dagenham.
'Two men were arrested after becoming involved in a dispute with a minicab driver.
'One man, aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of class A drugs.
‘A second man, aged 31, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and a public order offence.'
