Daddy cool! Chris Martin treats Apple and Moses to a fun-filled afternoon on the Santa Monica Pier
He's the frontman of hugely successful rock band Coldplay, but Chris Martin's priorities are with another, smaller group ... his children.
The 37-year-old was ever the doting father as he stepped out for a day of fun with his 10-year-old daughter Apple and son Moses, age eight, on the Santa Monica Pier on Friday.
The singer hit the popular seaside attraction - which features a family amusement park - with his two children and a few of their friends as they took in the lively environment and blended in amongst the throngs of tourists and other visitors.

The group walked around the boardwalk and stopped to watch some of the exciting street performances.
Chris stayed close to his two little ones but also stood in the background at times to let them have their fun.
To get a respite from the warm summer weather, the Ghost Stories hitmaker purchased the children some large frozen Icees which Moses seemed eager to enjoy.

Taking a break from all the kid's play, he stopped to check his phone while sitting on the floor of the popular touristy area.

Chris has been relishing the success of the band's latest album Ghost Stories which debuted at #1 on the Billboard album charts last month.
Selling over 380,000 copies in its first week, the record is the band's fourth number 1 and makes the album the top selling debut of the year so far.
Last week People reported the musician may be getting back together with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who announced their 'conscious uncoupling' back in March.

'They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together, but it's a possibility,' a friend in Gwyneth's camp told the magazine.
'They're loving time together with and without the kids.'
A second source told People: 'She didn't want to end the marriage. He's been a great father and that has helped keep the flame alive.'
