'I was worried': The Water Diviner's Olga Kurylenko had concerns ahead of working with first time director Russell Crowe
Russell Crowe's directorial debut The Water Diviner has received eight Australian Academy Cinema Television Awards nominations, including Best Film.
But the film's female lead Olga Kurylenko, 35, says she was 'worried' ahead of shooting with the first time director and Hollywood heavyweight.
'I was thinking, 'Oh my God, it's the first time he is directing, he's never directed before,' reports News Corp.

'I was worried,' Olga added. 'But there was nothing to worry about. Nothing.'
In fact the Bond girl says the Oscar winner, 50, was discerningly quick in his directorial approach, often capturing a scene in just two takes.
Olga plays Crowe's lover Ayshe, in the historical World War I drama that centres around a father, played by Crowe, who journeys to Turkey to discover the fate of his three sons who went missing during the Battle of Gallipoli.

The graphic battle field flashbacks are not for the faint-hearted with scenes depicting maimed soldiers in the trenches crying for their mothers and salvation.
Crowe has previously spoken of his casting decisions, saying he picked Olga, who is best known for her role in 2008's Quantum Of Solace, because she was from a 'like-minded tribe'.
It seems the pair hit it off as the Ukrainian born beauty is now a supporter of the Australian-based star's team South Sydney Rabbitohs.
She had nothing but great things to say about the Gladiator star in a recent interview with Sunday Life.
Effortless: Olga said Russell was one of the best director's she's ever had, saying he was a 'natural'
'Russell was amazing. It was his first film [as a director] but it was as if he'd done it every day.
'Because he's an actor, he gives some of the best direction I've ever had,' added the actress.
The film is set for release on Boxing Day and it's the first of slew of big hitters for the model and actress.
A Perfect Day will see her opposite Tim Robbins and Benicio Del Toro while her next film, Momentum, stars Morgan Freeman.
