Zac Efron shaves off his bushy beard but keeps scruffy mustache for new TV project with Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Zac Efron has been growing out his facial hair during his work hiatus.
But on Tuesday, the 27-year-old actor cleaned up his appearance for a guest spot on Joseph Gordon-Levitt's popular series HitRecord On TV.
The Neighbors star shaved off his bushy beard and kept his long mustache while shooting scenes with the 33-year-old show creator and The Interview director Evan Goldberg.

Joseph shared a group selfie on his Facebook and Twitter pages showing the trio smiling against a green screen backdrop.
Zac looked conservatively dressed in a black suit, white dress shirt and multicoloured tie and it appeared he was playing a lead in a new HitRecord project.
The former High School Musical cast member displayed his new semi-clean shaven look as he pointed to the camera with a beaming grin on his face.

On December 12, a bearded Zac supported Evan and the cast of the headline making film The Interview at the Los Angeles premiere.
They cosied up to lead actors James Franco and Seth Rogen, who also co-directed the flick with Evan.
Also that same day, he was seen picking up lunch at Palm's restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Perhaps Zac will be soon parting with his hairy stache as it was announced that he has signed on to star in the upcoming movie Dirty Grandpa opposite Robert De Niro.
Actress Zoey Deutch has been attached to the project to play Zac's love interest.
The motion picture is expected for an August 12, 2016 release in the States.
