MKR contestant Adam Anderson now gets chummy with Manu Feildel on the tennis court... after claims he coached Pete Evans in the sport before show even started

Last month his ex-wife claimed that he used to coach celebrity chef Pete Evans in tennis before first appearing on My Kitchen Rules, claims which were later shut down by Channel Seven.

But now it appears that MKR contestant Adam Anderson is lending his knowledge of the racquet to the show's other judge, Manu Feildel.

The pair were seen looking chummy earlier in the month as the former tennis ace coached Manu by Sydney's Rushcutters Bay.

Last month Adam's ex-wife Cindy Anderson took part in an explosive A Current Affair interview where she questioned the credibility of My Kitchen Rules, revealing:

'[Adam] has known Pete Evans, he knows him through tennis, through coaching him,' adding that the pair worked at Sydney restaurant Hugo's together.

In the same interview Cindy, who was married to Adam for almost 20 years, claimed that she and their five children get no financial support at all from the amateur chef and that he blocks their attempts to reach out to him.

The 45-year-old would hit back at these claims in a New Idea interview, where he said:

'The decision about the children was that I didn't want to keep inflaming it. I thought the best thing to do was to remove myself from the situation because it's no good for everyone.'

Birthdays, school holidays and Christmas are now the only times he claims he has the opportunity to see his four daughters and son.

Meanwhile, shortly after the interview Channel Seven insisted that Evans was never coached by Anderson and his former wife's claims for child support were a matter for the couple to resolve.

'This is a private matter between the parties involved,' the Seven statement said.

'Pete Evans has never had tennis lessons from Adam. They met for the first time on the program.'
