This is driving me car-azy! Actress Katharine McPhee struggles to squeeze her luggage into mystery male pal's Mini
In October 2013, Katharine McPhee was at the centre of much controversy when she was photographed kissing Smash director Michael Morris while she was still married to Nick Cokas.
But on Sunday, the former American Idol contestant - who filed for divorce last May - appeared to have put all of the troubles behind her as she enjoyed a day out with a male pal in Los Angeles.
Katherine, who recently begun dating her Scorpion co-star Elyes Gabel, was spotted having trouble putting her luggage in the back of her companion's Mini, eventually storing it on the back seat.

For her sunny day out, Katharine stepped out in style, donning an all-black ensemble that included a bomber jacket, faded jeans and strappy peep-toe heels.
With a centre-parting in her wavy, brunette tresses, the singer-turned-actress rounded out her look with a trendy pair of tinted sunglasses.
Katharine recently revealed she had shelved her current musical project in favour of making the most of her acting opportunities.

She told the Los Angeles Times: 'My record got put on the back burner. It will take some figuring out as far as the music fits, some realigning.
'I'm letting the pieces fall where they may, letting the show settle a little bit.'
At the time that she was caught kissing Michael Morris, Katharine insisted that she and her husband Nick had already been separated.
