Keeping it simple, the acclaimed actress opted for a colourless ensemble which consisted of fitted trousers, black suede boots and a chunky-knit roll-neck.
She capped the look with a sexy leather jacket which no doubt harked back to her punk days in the eighties. She even wore a jet-black handbag and sported a marching case for her smart phone.
In fact, going make-up-free for the outing, the only flash of colour was her peroxide blonde hair, which offered some serious contrast.

Stopping to sign autographs for fans, the US star - who recently won acclaim for her West End debut - was clearly happy to use the invisibility of radio to be a little more off-duty than usual.
Only recently she wowed onlookers with dramatic and sexed-up looks, including a sheer-effect dress as she visited the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles alongside gal pal Suki Waterhouse.
Just weeks before it she raised eyebrows at the same venue in a Longchamp buttermilk yellow dress, which was unzipped to her cleavage.

Meanwhile, X Files fans will be able to see Gillian back in the role of Dana Scully in the impending future, as she will soon be reuniting with her co-star David Duchovny for an X-Files reunion project.
David, who played FBI agent Fox Mulder, recently told The Observer that the reunion ‘is going to happen pretty soon,’ confirming the swirling speculation of a comeback.
‘If you’d asked me this question 10 years ago, I would have said: yes, I’ve had enough,’ he said.
‘But at this point, it’s almost like going out on a greatest hits tour. It would be a lark. And I think it’s going to happen pretty soon.’
They will be making a 'limited' return as their X-Files characters, as neither has 'the energy for a full season,' David said.
According to IMDb, the untitled X-Files reboot is scheduled to debut in 2016.
Both Gillian and David appeared in the long-running show for all nine seasons from 1993 to 2002, as well as in two movie spin-offs.
