Sunrise host Samantha Armytage says there is 'no way' she will use Tinder to find love after confessing her early bedtime makes it difficult to meet eligible bachelors
She has remained steadfastly single since splitting with Peter De Angelis two years ago.
And while Samantha Armytage is open to finding love again, the Sunrise host says there is 'no way' she is using popular dating app Tinder.
When asked by news.com.au about the prospect of dating a man she meets online, the 39-year-old Australian television star said: 'Tinder? No way,' noting her friends have tried online dating and she hasn't approved.
No Tinder surprise: While Samantha Armytage is open to finding love again, the Sunrise host says there is 'no way' she is using popular dating app Tinder
'An old school girlfriend of mine just signed up to one of the dating websites and she’s telling me about the people she gets matched up with.
'I am like "this is horrendous". Even if I wasn’t doing what I do (working on television) I wouldn't do that,' she told the publication.
Due to her before dawn starts on Sunrise Samantha has to maintain an early bedtime, something she recently said takes a toll on her love life.
Speaking on an episode of the Tea With Jules web series, Samantha told Jules Sebastian she goes to bed at 7:30pm, so 'it's no wonder I'm single'.
'...I'm in bed by 8, I have no life', she laughed, 'So hello, it's no wonder I'm single.'

Jules assured the host there was bloke who would sweep her off her feet sooner or later.
'It's OK, there's a man out there who will understand,' she began, before Samantha laughed and continued her sentence, saying, 'That goes to bed at 8 o'clock as well. He's probably like a taxi driver or a baker'.
Recounting some of her previous relationships in her book Shine, released last year, the bubbly blonde says she has no regrets and is glad that she hasn't walked down the aisle yet as doing so with any of her past suitors would have ended in divorce.
'I've dated a pilot (ugh), a rugby front rower (double ugh, no neck!), a sociopath who, for the sake of this book, I'll downgrade to an extreme narcissist,' she wrote.
Still single and ready to mingle: The blonde Channel Seven star has previously said she always manages to choose the wrong guy
'I have [also] dated a man who could not drive a manual car (deal-breaker); a man who wore a thumb ring (also a deal-breaker); and not one but two men who were unemployed and lived off me.'
Somewhat unlucky in love, Sam detailed the ins and outs of her turbulent dating history in her confessional, and revealed she has been cheated on in the past.
In 2011 she broke up with long-term builder boyfriend Sean and earlier this year went on a date with Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet.
Meanwhile during an interview earlier this month with Jules Sebastian for the Tea With Jules web series, Samantha made the frank admission about her struggle to find the right guy saying: ‘If there were 29 great guys in a room and one d***head. I would pick the d***head every time.’
