Twinning! The Veronica's embrace their inner princess as they dress in semi-sheer ball gowns at the ARIA Awards and plug their new single on the red carpet
They had heads turning at last year's ARIA Awards when they stepped out in sheer, dark Gothic-inspired dresses.
But on Thursday, The Veronica's put their usual rocker style aside and embraced their inner princess wearing shimmering light ball gowns at the annual awards gala, held at The Star in Sydney.
While Queensland-born twins Lisa and Jessica Origliasso both opted for light-coloured gowns, they still flashed some flesh in the partially see-through dresses.

The two sisters kept their make-up matching, both opting for dark shadow and thick black mascara along with a deep plum lipstick.

Lisa showcased her slim figure in a semi-sheer gown which hugged tightly around her slender torso before flowing outwards to mimic a more traditional-style Cinderella ball gown.
She slicked her short black locks back while attempting to rock an on trend slicked back hair style.
Meanwhile, her twin sister Jessica showed off her cleavage in a low-cut glittering crop-top and matching skirt.

She paired the silver sparkling top with a matching floor-length, partially sheer skirt.
To distinguish herself from Lisa, she pinned her locks back to form a half-up, half-down style while leaving her fringe parted to the right across her forehead.
The Veronicas are nominated for two ARIA awards for Song Of The Year and Best Video, both for their chart-smashing hit You Ruined Me.
The song was released in August 2014 and debuted at number one of the ARIA charts.
Since forming in 2005 the sisters have received one ARIA award and received a four time platinum for 280,000+ sales for their debut album The Secret Life Of in 2006.
