It may have been a scorching 37 degrees in Sydney but that didn't stop countless stars from posing for selfies before heading into the ARIA Awards.
Legions of screaming music lovers flocked around the red carpet outside The Star on Thursday, and many were lucky enough to share a snap with their favourite celebrity.
As the sun beat down on the crowd, big names such as Ed Sheeran, Rove McManus and his radio co-host Sam Frost, even pop icon Kylie Minogue and Samantha Jade stopped for cheerful snaps.

Among the most prolific producers of goofy selfies, Rove, 41, threw himself into the crowd flicking an enthusiastic thumbs up.
The Bachelorette's Sam Frost was also incredibly popular, scrunching up her button nose and snarling for a photo with an eager fan who stuck her tongue out in return.
British pop star Ed Sheeran was understandably swamped as he put on a steely smirk to pose with the crowd, his album x having been certified 7x platinum in Australia.

And 27-year-old heartthrob Conrad Sewell, who took home the award for Best Song, also sweated in the heat and poked out his tongue for snap or two.

Jessica Mauboy, who performed Chains with Hall Of Fame inductee Tina Arena, smiled broadly with the screaming crowd, despite making a questionable choice of outfit in a frilly grey tuxedo.

Sam Frost's male counterpart, The Bachelor's Sam Wood was also taking snaps, donning an all-black ensemble in the heat.
