'It's the biggest week of my life': X Factor's Louisa Johnson sparks fears she could miss show final after cancelling gig and being put on 'voice rest'
She has been the favourite to take The X Factor crown since the show first aired earlier this summer.
But Louisa Johnson could see her chances of winning the singing competition jeopardised after contracting problems with her vocal chords - just days away from this weekend's final.
Her discomfort has already seen the 17-year-old forced to cancel her show in Liverpool after doctors ordered her to stay in bed and rest her vocals.

Tweeting her disappointment on Wednesday, the aspiring singer wrote: 'so sorry that im missing tonight in liverpool! Need to be on strict voice rest ahead of the biggest week of my life, it needs to be perfect (sic).'
An X Factor spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Unfortunately Louisa is unwell and we have been advised by doctors that she currently needs to be on bed and voice rest ahead of this weekend's final.
'We're sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to supporting her at her performance in Liverpool today.'

A source told the Radio Times that decisions are being made 'day by day' to assess how much Louisa can do ahead of the final.
The blonde teen is set to battle Che Chesterman and Reggie 'N' Bollie to be crowned winner of the current series of the competition.
Despite being told to take things easy, Louisa recently reassured The Sun: 'My voice is fine, it is just tired.'

Meanwhile, the youngster, who has been a front-runner since auditions kicked off earlier this summer, also told the publication that being the favourite isn't causing her to feel the strain.
'It doesn’t put more pressure on me as I am not thinking about it. I am really grateful people think I am going to win,' she explained.
The X Factor final airs Saturday (12.12.15) and Sunday (13.12.15) at 8pm on ITV.
