Jon Hamm could break his losing streak with sixth SAG nomination following Mad Men's final season... as House Of Cards leads the pack with three nods
It could be a year of firsts for Jon Hamm. In September the actor finally got his Emmy for Mad Men after losing out seven years in a row.
And now he's received his sixth nod from the Screen Actors Guild for lead actor in a drama series after the beloved show came to a close earlier this year.
While he has won twice before as part of the AMC show's ensemble, if he grabs gold it will be his first SAG award as a leading man.

Anna Faris and Anthony Mackie announced the nominees on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles and there were a few surprises up the guild's sleeve.
The snubs this year were a bit more harsh than expected as both Empire, a huge hit and favorite among audiences and critics, and The Leftovers, arguably one of the best series this past year, were left out of the running.
But the clear front runner for the awards was Netflix's political drama House of Cards, which led the field with three nominations, for best actor (Kevin Spacey), best actress (Robin Wright) and best cast performance in a drama series.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards honor the best film and television performances of the year. Nominees are selected by separate movie and TV nominating panels, each comprised of over 2,000 randomly selected SAG members.
SAG nominees are voted in by their peers with 4,200 members of the guild randomly selected each year to nominate their favourites.
Many members of the SAG movie panel also vote for the Academy Awards and as a result, the SAG nominees have traditionally served as a helpful indicator of potential Oscar acting nominees.
The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be broadcast live on January 30 from Los Angeles on TNT and TBS.
Getting serious: Bob Odenkirk and his show Better Call Saul got two nods
