She left TOWIE because she admitted she hated seeing herself on screen next to her 'skinny' co-stars.
But three years on, Lauren Goodger is back in Brentwood and looking better than ever, as she films scenes for her return to the ITVBe show.
The 29-year-old was seen showing off her slimmed-down figure as she headed to Chloe Sims' beauty salon last month to film her cameo for the Christmas special of the show, The Only Way is Essexmas.

She added a leather jacket over the top of her skimpy LBD, which also featured a plunging neckline, and made sure to fit in with her old TOWIE pals with a full face of makeup and sleek locks.

Lauren was seen making her way to Chloe' salon for filming, where the old pals were joined by current TOWIE star Danni Armstrong for a pampering and gossip session.
Chloe was in the festive spirit, teaming a 'Christmas Wrapper' sweatshirt with a glam black tutu, while Danni wrapped up in a cosy knitted dress and chic brown jacket.
Lauren confirmed she was returning to The Only Way Is Essex a week ago following rumours which were doing the rounds last month.

The TOWIE original announced she is to make a cameo appearance in the ITVBe show's one-off Christmas special, three years after quitting, in her latest magazine column.
'I'm so excited to announce I'll be making a cameo appearance in TOWIE's Christmas special,' she told new! readers.
The 29-year-old added that she'd filmed her scenes - an experience she branded nerve-wracking but a 'right laugh'.

Lauren was conscious not to reveal too much but she did say she enjoyed filming with her co-stars Chloe and Danni, gushing: 'I was really excited, especially as I look quite different to when I was last on the show. I can't wait for you to see it later this month.'
The star has lost an incredible four stone in weight in recent months and dropped an impressive five dress sizes, announcing this week that she's releasing her fitness DVD, Lauren's OMG! Workout, on Boxing Day.
After leaving TOWIE at the end of series six in 2012, Lauren told the Sunday Mirror that she decided she had to go after battling insecurities about her fluctuating weight, admitting at the time: 'I felt under so much pressure. Most of the girls on TOWIE are quite skinny and could wear what the hell they wanted.'

'We all had different body shapes, and I'm not being horrible, but I don't like boob jobs or even want to be really thin. I just want to keep my curves and be a little more toned. But, next to the others, I'd be panicking over whether my arms looked fat or how big I'd look if I was sitting down.
'I'd even beg producers to let me sit at a table so I could hide my legs underneath.'

She's also been kept in the headlines thanks to the ongoing drama with ex-fiancé Mark Wright whom she became engaged to and later split with during her two-year run on the ITVBe reality show.

Mark married former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan earlier this year and despite moving on with on-off boyfriend Jake McLean, an insider told The Sun Lauren could cause trouble by bringing up her past with Mark during her comeback.
'Lauren and Mark still clash whenever she tries to use him for publicity, so there could be fireworks off screen as well as on if his name crops up,' the source points out.
The Only Way is Essexmas airs on ITVBe at 10pm on Wednesday December 16th.
