Rita Ora once called her mom Vera Sahatciu Ora her 'biggest supporter on the planet.'
Mother and daughter were an inspiration as they attended the taping of VH1's Mother's Day special Dear Mama in New York City on Tuesday.
While Vera was radiant in an all-white jumpsuit, Rita stepped up the glamour in a long black gown with thigh-high split and other revealing details.

Rita, 25, managed to show some skin thanks to the strapping down the sides and the plunging-to-the-waist back.
The Body On Me singer let her platinum tresses fall straight with natural waves, a no-fuss look to go with her dramatic dress.
Rita's make-up was thick on the red lipstick and dark eyeliner with lighter touches of rouge on cheeks.

Looking at Vera, one can see where Rita got her exotic good looks from, their features very similar, especially their wide, beaming smiles.
Vera was outfitted in a form-fitting jumpsuit with a belt around the waist and strappy white heels and white clutch to match.
Rita has credited her mother for turning her into the hard worker she is.
The young singer was born in Pristina, in present-day Kosovo, but she moved to London as a toddler with her parents due to the changing political and dangerous climate in her native country.

'In Kosovo, my mum was a doctor,' Rita said, according to an interview published in UK's The Sun. 'But when she came here, she had to spend six years doing all her studies again, while also working as a waitress and bringing up three kids.
'She never stopped reading her books, and now she’s a psychiatrist with her own practice. That’s the attitude I want to have with my work.
'She is my biggest supporter on the planet,' Rita added.

The event was taped St. Bartholomew's Church in New York City and hosted by Black-ish star Anthony Anderson.
It brought other famous stars and their mothers together including Jaden, Willow and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Meanwhile, the outing for Rita and her mother came a day after the singer stormed the star-studded Met Gala, where she not only wowed in a feathered Vera Wang gown, but she also put rumours to bed about her being 'Becky', the mystery woman who Beyonce suggested her husband Jay Z had an affair with.

After the release of Beyonce's new album Lemonade, in which she refers to 'Becky with the good hair' on a track called Sorry, there was much speculation over Rita perhaps being this woman.
Fans believed Rita had been dropping hints the songs were about her after she posted cryptic pictures on her Snapchat account.
However, during the Met Gala, Rita caught up with her rumoured love rival Beyonce with the two posing for a social media snap together.
Across the relatively blurry selfie, she had written the word 'Family'.

And, later in the evening, at one of the many Met Gala after parties, Rita stepped out in a tiny PVC ensemble with a pointed 'Not Becky' badge pinned to her lapel.
Last week, he I Will Never Let You Down hitmaker had taken to Twitter to insist she has 'nothing but the utmost respect for Beyoncé' after she was romantically linked to the Empire State of Mind rapper.
She wrote: 'I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Beyoncé. Let's continue enjoying Lemonade.'
Dear Mama will premiere on VH1 on Sunday, May 8 at 9PM ET/PT.
