And the home of Wes Craven, who passed away last year aged 76, sold for $250K above asking price in April.
The Hollywood Hills home was listed for $3,295,000 on 8th April, according to la.curbed.com, and offers were made on April 15.

It was sold on April 28 at $3,535,000, reports Redfin with Million Dollar Listing stars Josh and Matt Altman as its listing agents.
It was described as 'perfect for creative minds,' but the lucky new owner is unknown.
The 3,594 square-foot three bedroom and three bathroom home is the residence of dreams rather than nightmares.

Craven died of brain cancer on August 30, 2015, at the age of 76, at his home in Los Angeles.
He was survived by his two children, Jonathan, 51 and Jessica, 48, from his first marriage to Bonnie Broecker, third wife Iya Labunka, step-daughter Nina Tarnawsky and sister Carol Buhrow and three grandchildren.
