Mindy Kaling went for a bright look at the Hulu upfrontson Wednesday.

The actress, writer and showrunner wore a bold orange ensemble as she attended annual advertising presentation at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old paired her retro-style orange-and-gold mini-dress with a matching coat as she revealed her comedy The Mindy Project will be back for a fifth season.

The former The Office star looked relaxed in the dress and coat, which was designed by her costumed designer and red carpet go-to Salvador Perez.

The orange-and-gold coat featured dark brown faux fur trim, and the dress had cute gold buttons and front pockets.

The bestselling author, who often opts for bold colors and patterns when it comes to wardrobe choices, added light heels with stylish studs.

Actors Arron Paul, Hugh Dancy and Michelle Monaghan also attended the event, where it was announced that their cult drama The Path has been renewed for season two.

Michelle wore a striking dress with a metallic high neckline, black sleeves and a black skirt over a blue layer.

The 40-year-old pulled her hair back in a high ponytail as she posed with former Breaking Bad star  Aaron, 36, and British actor Hugh, 40.

Broad City stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer hosted the event.

Abbi, 32, tucked a high-necked black top with cutout sleeves into a long, pink paisley skirt.

Ilana, 29, flashed her black bra under a sheer tank top, which she wore with a white, A-line skirt as they chatted with Hulu's Head of Marketing Jenny Wall.

Actress Amy Poehler also attended, wearing a black shirt and baggy trousers paired with bright blue suede heels.

The 41-year-old was joined by comedians Julie Klausner, 37, and Billy Eichner, 37, who star in Hulu show Difficult People. Parks And Rec vet Amy is executive producer of the show and also of Abbi and Ilana's hit Comedy Central show.

Also at the upfront were Casual stars Michaela Watkins, 44; Tommy Dewey, 37, and Tara Lynn, 22. The comedy was also renewed for a second season.

Actress KaDee Strickland also attended, wearing a plunging blue dress with a sheer fringe.

The 40-year-old was joined by former Burn Notice actor Jeffrey Donovan, 47.

KaDee and Jeffrey are set to star in new Hulu dark comedy show Shut Eye, about a fortune teller who gets mixed up with organized crime. 

Actor Hugh Laurie, 56, also attended the event. The former House star will play a doctor again on new Hulu show Chance, based on the novel by Kem Nunn.

Also at the event was comedy writer and Triumph The Insult Comic Dog mastermind Robert Smigel, 56. Triumph's Election Special began streaming in February.
