Selena Gomez unfollows nearly 300 accounts on Instagram... as she changes profile photo to image of mother Mandy Teefey
Taylor Swift is still in, but Demi Lovato is out.
Selena Gomez overhauled her Instagram account on Saturday, unfollowing nearly 300 people.
The 25-year-old actress and singer also changed her profile pic to a photo of her mom, Mandy Teefey, 41.

Aside from Taylor, 28, among those she still follows are songwriters Justin Tranter, 37, and Julia Michaels, 24; actresses Amy Schumer and Jessica Alba, both 36; BFF and kidney donor Francia Raisa, 29; designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, 46. and her stylist Kate Young
She is also still following brands she has deals with including Puma, Coach, Pantene and Louis Vuitton.

Selena has given no indication why she reduced her following list to just 37, but it may not mean there's a problem with those she's unfollowed, according to Elle.
It cited Selena comment on Demi's recent Instagram, while Demi liked Gomez's latest post.

Elle speculated that the unfollows may have been part of an overall brand strategy rather than a personal thing.
However, fans were surprised when Selena swapped out her profile pic for one of her mom, Mandy.
The pair unfollowed each other briefly on Instagram late last year, after Selena rekindled her romance with Justin Beiber.

But they seem to be on good terms now after Mandy voluntarily sought treatment at a hospital in Los Angeles in December, due to stress.
TMZ reported at the time Mandy was taken to a hospital after getting into a 'heated' conversation with Selena about her relationship with Bieber, though a source also told People the reason Mandy voluntarily checked into the hospital was not just because of Justin.
Meanwhile, Selena took a trip down memory lane when she posted an Instagram selfie on the porch of the Texas home where she lived as a child.
She captioned it: 'The home I grew up in, from birth to 13… (no one was home when I knocked this time lol).
'I visit this place every chance I get, In many ways it very well could have been better than my life today, but I’m grateful for a voice that can enable change today. Even when I don’t know how to do it well or actually want it. I love you Grand Prairie. Thank you.'
