And while Charlize Theron is known for her head-turning and striking displays on the red carpet as one of the most well known actresses in the world, the star cuts a completely different figure in the newest trailer of her upcoming movie, Tully.
The Oscar winning star, 42, takes on the role of an exhausted mum of three in the comedy flick - including a newborn - and the latest clip shows her struggle with motherhood, as well as the idea of hiring a night nanny.

In the film, which will be released on April 20, Charlize takes on the role of Marlo, who has her hands full with three young children.
The two minute trailer sees her struggling with her motherhood duties, no matter how hard she tries.
While Charlize is known for her glamorous red carpet displays on the red carpet, in the trailer she is seen casually clad with a barely-there coat of make-up to emulate the true realities of parenthood.
She is then recommended the use of a night nanny by her brother to help her rest at night.

'I don't want a stranger in my house. That's like a Lifetime movie where the nanny tries to kill the family!' she humours the idea, before giving in.
The trailer then goes on to see the arrival of nanny Mackenzie Davis and by the look of the rest of the clip - the pair go on to forge a fabulous relationship which helps Marlo re-gain control of her life.
As well as Mackenzie, Charlize stars alongside Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass in the Jason Reitman directed film.

Charlize famously gained 35lbs for her role in the film but quickly shed the weight after production wrapped.
The South African star, a known method actor, previously gained 30 pounds for the 2003 film Monster, in which she portrayed serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
Her dramatic transformation and stunning performance led her to win 17 awards for the role, including the 2004 Academy Award for Best Actress.

In April 2016, she told British GQ that beauty can work against an actress when it comes to landing strong roles.
'Jobs with real gravitas go to people that are physically right for them and that’s the end of the story,' she said.
'How many roles are out there for the gorgeous, f***ing, gown-wearing eight-foot model? When meaty roles come through, I’ve been in the room and pretty people get turned away first.'
