Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei was reportedly held at knifepoint while alone in her home after Christmas.

Sources tell The Sun, the 28-year-old reality star is said to be desperate to move on from the incident, which left her shook up although she has been 'carrying on as normal' since the devastating incident. 

Police told the publication a 27-year-old man was charged with aggravated burglary following the incident on 27 December.

A friend of Sophie told The Sun: 'Sophie was at home by herself just after Christmas when she says the incident took place. 

'Sophie was left completely shook up and it has hit her pretty hard but she is refusing to let it affect her life. 

'She's been carrying on like normal, going out with her mates and partying. Sophie just wants to put everything behind her now and move on.'

Yet the South Shields-born beauty, who has returned in a blaze of glory, has become a fan favourite once more and she prepares once more for the next series.

Sophie is currently hitting headlines after her stunning weight loss yet she confessed she has been feeling 'lonely' after breaking up with her boyfriend of six years. 

After the split from Joel Corry, she told Closer magazine: 'I feel a little bit lost at the minute. I’m lonely - I’ve split with my boyfriend and have nowhere to go, really. 

'I’m thinking: "Where do I go now?" I might go back to Newcastle this year, which will be weird, but nice to be surrounded by friends and the girls again.'
