A battle has certainly been brewing between two friends.
But Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill were not afraid to duke it out with a war of words in a preview of Wednesday night's episode of Real Housewives of New York.
The reality stars threw bitter jabs at each other while dressed in '20s flair for a murder mystery party at Dorinda Medley's now infamous home in The Berkshires, Massachusetts.

The heated discussion began after Bethenny had previously lamented that Carole's then boyfriend Adam Kenworthy wouldn't photograph her charity-related trip to hurricane ravaged areas earlier in the year.
'You never told me you called Adam to go to Houston with you,' Carole said to Bethenny as the women sat in costume at a large table.
Stunned at the comment, Bethenny threw a few harsh words back at her former friend.
'I will do what I please,' the Skinnygirl entrepreneur said after Carole tells her it's not right to twist words.

'You know who parses people's words out and tries to trip them up? People who aren't telling the truth,' Carole said in in a confessional. 'Liars.'
As Carole continued to defend her former lover, Bethenny quips, 'Oh my god, Carole, you're freaking me out right now.'
'Does the truth freak you out?' Radziwill jabbed back to Frankel.

She continued, 'But, hey, Carole? She's on top of this one.'
Carole recently took to her blog to defend her former beau, saying 'unlike my fellow Housewife, it’s not sport for me to voice opinions that may be hurtful to other people, including her.'
'I’m glad to see my friend Bethenny step outside her affluent bubble, with her stream of rich boyfriends, rich friends with private planes, million dollar homes, and five-star resort vacations,' Carole wrote. 'One gets the impression this is the first time she’s witnessed real poverty.
'It is a good use of celebrity, and I hope this journey will make Bethenny a wiser and kinder person closer to home too. From the looks of it she’s got a ways to go.'
