The Baby-Sitters Club 'to get the reboot treatment in new TV series from producer Michael De Luca'
Walden Media is reportedly plotting a reboot of HBO series The Baby-Sitters Club to shop around to various networks and streaming services.
According to Deadline, the episodic half-hour set in a fictional Connecticut town will include all the original characters from Ann M. Martin's beloved book series (1986-2000).
Fifty Shades Freed producer Michael De Luca will executive produce the reimagining with GLOW story editor Rachel Shukert 'in talks' to be showrunner.

Columbia Pictures later adapted the books into a 1995 feature film -starring Ellen Burstyn, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Schulyer Fisk - which earned mixed reviews and pulled $9.6M at the box office.
