Ty Ruff gets arrested for investigation of drunken driving after allegedly swerving and speeding
Ty Ruff was arrested for investigation of drunken driving Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old reality television personality was pulled over by police about 2:30am after officers saw his 2011 Mercedes-Benz swerving across traffic lanes while going about 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit, according to an article Wednesday by TMZ.
Ruff failed field sobriety tests and registered a 0.12 BAC, well over the legal limit, according to sources.

He was booked for misdemeanor DUI and was released a few hours later without bond.
Ruff starred in season 23 of The Real World: D.C. that aired on MTV in 2009-2010.
He was age 22 during the reality series that featured eight people living together in a house in Dupont Circle.
Baltimore-native Ruff was abandoned by his parents and lived in a series of foster homes before he was adopted at age five.

He grew up in a rough Baltimore neighborhood that he previously said was accurately depicted in the HBO series The Wire, including a former crack house across the street from his home.
Ruff's behavior while intoxicated prompted a house meeting with his Real World castmates.
He also has appeared on the MTV reality shows Battle Of The Exes, Cutthroat and Rivals.
