BBLs - or Brazilian Butt Lifts - are all the rage, especially in Hollywood, as A-listers aplenty alter their backsides surgically.
Now, the latest procedure is the Awake BBL, which transfers fat to the buttocks, hips, and thighs while the patient is awake.
Courtney B. an occupational therapist in Boynton Beach, Florida, chose to get plastic surgery clinic Squlpt's Awake BBL procedure after finding the procedure on Instagram.
Courtney, 31, tried everything, including fad diets, sculpting garments, and CoolSculpting sessions.
Courtney ultimately opted for an Awake BBL when nothing else seemed to work, telling FEMAIL, 'Nothing is more heartbreaking than seeing your money go to waste with failed results.'
Courtney wanted to get rid of her 'lower belly pooch' and 'enhance' her 'already curvy' silhouette, asking, 'Why waste the fat?'
'After a lot of time and funds wasted, I began exploring options for permanent fat removal and body sculpting,' she said.
Courtney ended up finding an ad for one of Squlpt's former patients, Emily, and was 'in awe of her results.'

The Floridian ended up opting for the awake procedure, because she wanted to avoid general anesthesia and have an easier recovery time, as it allows patients to return to their normal routines faster.
'Plus, I'm not a big fan of tubes and drains,' Courtney said.
The first two weeks after her procedure, Courtney was sore, and it felt like she had done a heavy workout.
Courtney said the hardest part of recovery was managing her compression garments, which typically have to be worn for about six weeks - even while sleeping - after surgery.
By the end of the second week, she returned to work and could even drive herself using her BBL pillow, which came with her everywhere.
Post-surgery, some of her friends ended up recognizing her body in the ads running on Instagram and asked about her experience with Squlpt as well as what she thought about her results, which she said was extremely flattering.
'What was even more of a compliment is that many would say that my results looked super natural and unlike many other traditional BBLs,' Courtney said.
'Some people even told me I was the reason for them scheduling consultations.'

Dr. Daniel Suissa, based in Miami, Florida, founded Squlpt and invented and developed SoftSqulpt, a 360 awake liposuction and fat transfer
Dr. Daniel Suissa, based in Miami, Florida, founded Squlpt and invented and developed the Awake BBL, which uses the patient's own fat under local anesthesia.
'Because the patient is awake, we can have them move around to reach all the areas needed,' Dr. Suissa said. 'This is key to creating a BBL that's perfectly in harmony with your body and doesn't look too obvious or fake.'
Being awake also reduces the risks associated with a BBL.
'Under general anesthesia, your muscles are fully relaxed, making it easier to mistakenly inject fat into the wrong area,' Dr. Suissa said.
'Because your muscles are contracting and you can give us feedback, the likelihood of placing fat into the musculature - where complications can occur - drops to almost zero.'
Dr. Suissa told DailyMail.com that the average age of patients has been 30 to 31 years old.
Some patients are in their twenties, others are moms who are done breastfeeding, and some are women in their fifties.
The price varies depending on the amount of fat transferred and the lipo areas - it can be around $15,000 but depends entirely on the patient.
Patients are usually able to head home the same day and can typically return to their desk job in about three to five days, since they don't have to navigate the longer recovery that can come with general anesthesia.
'More and more women want a natural, proportionate BBL - one that's noticeable without creating an oversized, "pumpkin on stilts" look - and that's why they choose Squlpt,' Dr. Suissa said.
