According to the profile, the Hinge user - who fans are convinced is the real Alexander - is 5ft8, attended the University of Oxford, and currently lives in London.

He also shared 'two truths and a lie' about himself, including 'I've lived in Palestine, Pakistan, and Nigeria' and 'I am the Secret Garden Party pun champion'.

After his alleged profile on Hinge - a location-based dating app which matches users based on where they live - was unearthed, fans noted how the responses were a perfect match to his 'adorable' personality on the show.

One comment read: 'Stop he's adorable.'

Another user said: 'I fear he is exactly my type.'

Others demanded to know where the Hinge user, who stumbled upon the profile, was based so that they could change their location to the same area.

Some took to the comments section to tag their single friends, with women urging each other to start swiping and 'get him, girl'.

Alexander's journey on The Traitors got off to a bumpy start after he initially sacrificed himself during an elimination challenge in the first episode.

He later rejoined the series and quickly emerged a fan-favourite, with viewers praising his level-headed gameplay, sense of humour, and MilkTray Man jumpers.

However, it wasn't until Claudia publicly confirmed Alexander was single during a challenge in the eighth episode of The Traitors that interest in him really skyrocketed.

The mission saw the players in two teams, one based in the castle, the other in the house, with Alexander's team tasked with repeating nursery rhymes sung backwards by dolls back to the castle team, who would then decode them using a voice recorder to play them forwards.

Alexander's backward singing was both enthusiastic and operatic, and initially left host Claudia unable to stifle her laughter.

As Alexander continued to belt out the butchered nursery rhymes like he was stage at the Albert Hall, Claudia looked at the camera and told viewers: 'Can I just say to anybody who is watching, Alexander is single.'

Shortly after, social media began to erupt with gratitude for Claudia's reveal, with one excitable soul on X declaring her the 'wingwoman' of those looking for love.

They wrote: 'Claudia being wingwoman to us all by confirming Alexander is single.'

Another added: 'Alexander is single Claudia doing THE LORD'S WORK'.

'Claudia looking straight to camera and confirming that Alexander is single! She really is the people’s princess,' a third comment read.

Alexander has quickly become one of the most popular contestants with viewers furiously defending him after he came under fire at the Round Table during Wednesday night's episode, with fans loving his calmness under pressure.

One observer wrote: 'I really like Alexander he keeps it chill and polite and logical, unlike most of this table #TheTraitors.'

Alexander was one of three contestants who sacrificed themselves when they all volunteered to get off the train in the first episode so that the remaining contestants could head to the castle and start the game, adding £7,000 for the winner's prize pot.

He was reinstated to the castle after a nail-biting challenge saw two members of the trio have the chance to return. While Fozia joined him, she has since been eliminated.

Asked why he applied for the show, Alexander said he loves doing new things and was looking for a new challenge after 'visiting all 15 of London's disused underground stations'.

Alexander added that he hopes to spend part of the prize money by donating to the Royal Mencap Society, which helps funds special holidays for children with special needs and their parents, after his own brother benefitted from the scheme.
