Inside the $2,500 a night Western retreat where Diddy spent his last free days
Diddy spent his last free days living it up at a $2,500-a-night Western retreat just before he was arrested in New York following a grand jury indictment.
Disgraced music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs spent a few nights at Wyoming's Amangani resort in Jackson Hole in July - about two months before he was snagged by Homeland Security officials in Midtown Manhattan, a former hotel employee told TMZ.
The rapper, 55, took some time to enjoy his vacation, as he was seen soaking up the Teton mountain views, spending time at the pool in a wetsuit with booties, and going white water rafting, according to the source.
By the second day, drama quickly unfolded as Diddy - who was on the trip with an unnamed woman and man - is said to have smelled of marijuana as he and his crew sat down for a meal at one of the hotel's restaurants.
The rapper enjoyed steak, fries and San Pellegrino sparkling water during his meal, but soon after, he reportedly got into a verbal argument with the woman traveling with him.
During the spat, the woman was 'pissy' and 'upset' and soon stormed out of their room after the fight, but it never got physical, the employee recalled.
The western resort is known as the most luxurious place to stay in Jackson Hole, as it offers amazing views of Grand Teton National Park and Snake River Valley, according to the website.
Guests are invited to bask in the great outdoors while also taking time to unwind indoors in the countless amenities, including a spa and wellness center, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, spacious rooms, and an array of fine dining experiences, among other options.

Although the resort is often favored during the winter months for the skiing season, it is open year-round for guests to enjoy 'exploration combined with moments of rejuvenation.'
DailyMail.com contacted Diddy's legal team for comment.
Diddy is currently spending his time in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after he was arrested and indicted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He has also faced an array of lawsuits while behind bars.
He's been accused of taking part in kinky 'freak-off' marathon parties with a slew of baby oil and drugs.
These alleged parties involved sex workers and narcotics such as ketamine, ecstasy, and GHB, 'which Combs distributed to the victims to keep them obedient and compliant,' according to the indictment.
The Bad Boy Records star was denied bail three times by two separate judges, and will remain in jail until his criminal trial, which is scheduled for May 5.
He is facing life in prison if he is found guilty of the racketeering charge.
Prosecutors have also accused the rapper of obstructing his criminal case and claimed he reached out to witnesses from behind bars.
Attorney Lisa Bloom, who is representing former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard in a lawsuit, told DailyMail.com Combs allegedly reached out to a witness - singer Kaleena Harper - in her client's case.

Richard, Harper and Combs had a short-lived group, Dirty Money, from 2009 to 2012.
In one of the most recent bombshell lawsuits against him, a woman claims she was drugged and raped by the music mogul after being lured into his car when she was a teenage babysitter more than two decades ago.
In a lawsuit filed in New York court on Monday and obtained by DailyMail.com, the unnamed woman claimed she was babysitting at a Manhattan residential building where she ran into Diddy in August or September 2000.
His then girlfriend - identified only as 'a well-known woman' in the complaint - lived in the building, the suit claims.
At the time of the alleged incident, Diddy was romantically linked with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
The rapper, who was sitting inside a car, asked the then teenager where she was going so late at night.
Despite telling him she lived just around the corner, the alleged victim said she jumped into the rapper's car 'after much cajoling.'
Two of Combs' associates also were in the vehicle, she claimed.

'During the ride, plaintiff became scared when they did not drop her off at home as promised,' she said in the complaint.
'The defendant gave her a drink to "calm her down". She soon became groggy and unsteady. Combs and his staff, the two-male codefendants, proceeded to a location where she was sexually assaulted by Combs.'
The woman said she was then taken back to her home and was dropped off at the lobby of her building by the two men who worked for Diddy.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, representatives for Combs denied the latest allegations.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges.
His legal team said he is innocent and will fight to clear his name.
'He is an imperfect person but this is not criminal,' said one of Combs' attorneys, Marc Agnifilo, in a statement.
'Please reserve your judgement until you have all the facts.'
