Many fans previously praised Snoop Dogg as 'the best judge ever' during his first season on NBC's The Voice, though many are turning on him now.
The 53-year-old musician put the remainder of his five-singer team to the test with challenging songs in his Playoff round.
He also surprised many fans by picking not a fellow musician as his Mega Mentor, but Olympic gymnast legend Simone Biles.
While that choice was baffling to many fans, he also drew the ire of many others with his pick of the two singers advancing.
Snoop picked Jeremy Beloate and Christina Eagle to move on, with many upset that Mikaela Ayira, Aliyah Khaylyn, Austyns Stancil were sent home, though many believed they should have stayed.

Snoop explained in confession, 'I'd like to bring in someone special. Not the regular or the usual or the expected, but something that's...gold.
As Snoop and Simone exchanged hugs in the rehearsal space, Snoop explained in confession, 'I brought Simone Biles in because the things that she went through, go through, and how she has to prepare herself, this is what these artists are actually experiencing.'
He wanted her to, 'give them some advice,' in terms of dealing with pressure and dealing with mental challenges as well.
She admitted to being a 'huge music fan' and that she loves The Voice, adding, 'I know the hard work and dedication that it takes when you're an amateur and then you decide to go professional. You just have to make sure that they believe in themselves.'
Still, fans weren't convinced in Snoop's methods, like @eolson1488, who joked, 'Why do you have Simone Biles on a singing competition? Are her ears Olympic too?'
@Iam_MyraJ was in favor of Snoop's choice, though, adding, 'People questioning why Simon Biles is on as a mentor. Simple. She's a champion performer and snoop must have seen a need to boost his team's stage presence because clearly, his team has the talent.'
@JohnRhinesSTL said, 'I get the Simone Biles is an amazing athlete with many Olympic medals, but her being a “coach” on The Voice is a huge stretch of the imagination and seems like a chance to fulfill their contract with her and that’s it. #Disappointing.'
@katie_bremner4 added, 'Don't get me wrong. Simone Biles seems like an awesome person to hang out with, but we've never heard her sing a single note, so having her on The Voice makes no sense unless she's going to follow in Carly Patterson's steps &release an album after her gymnastics career.'

@LukeEverhart1 said, 'Big fan of Simone Biles but an advisor that isn't in the music industry in any capacity? What's she supposed to advise on? #TheVoice.'
@lissa10871 said, 'Can someone tell me white Simone Biles is on The Voice, #TheVoice.'
@dmarieeex was in favor of Simone joining the show, stating, 'I keep seeing people say why is @Simone_Biles a mentor on the voice. Simple; even though she answered it. She was there to break people out of their shell. Someone they could gain confidence from. Hope that sums it all up for everyone still confused.'
@nfkyogi said, 'Why is Simone Biles on @NBCTheVoice? What an insult to guest coaches who are literally professional singers!'
While fans were confused by Snoop bringing in an Olympic gymnast as a singing mentor, many were infuriated by him picking Beloate and Eagle over Mikaela, Aliyah and Austyns.
After selecting Jeremy, which most fans seemed to have little to no issue with after his powerful performance, he told the rest what he was basing his selection on.
'The one that I'm going to select is the one that I feel has the most room to grow, as far as what I'm looking for to end the show with,' Snoop said, before picking Christina, though many fans preferred Aliyah or Austyns.
@CrazyBoothSocks said, 'How do you not pick Aliyah? PICK who could win...not 'room to grow'. It's the finales, not auditions. I don't understand you!'

@anitakearney65 echoed that previous tweet stating, '#TheVoice what no aliyah,' while @LukeEverhart1 said, 'Absurd that Aliyah didn't go on after that Whitney perfomance. It was phenomenal.'
@XhelseaBrianna said, 'I have no idea why @SnoopDogg just picked the way he did. Austins deserved Live. #TheVoice
Reba McEntire also had her Playoff run in the two-hour episode, picking Adam Bohanan and Danny Joseph to move on, with Lauren-Michael Sellers, Katie O and Edward Preble are eliminated.
The Voice continues its Season 26 run on Tuesday with the final Playoff run, with Michael Buble cutting his team down to the final two to round out the Top 8.
