Country singer Blake Shelton has confirmed that he plans to release a new album in 2025 as he shared his hopes and career goals for the year ahead.

As part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve celebrations, Blake, 48, joined the likes of Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson and Teddy Swims in opening up about what he wants to achieve over the next 12 months.

The God's Country singer, who recently welcomed a new family member with his wife Gwen Stefani, said: 'In the new year I'm actually looking forward to getting back out there and touring again.

'And I guess, at some point - I have no idea when - but at some point in the coming year, I'm gonna put out an album - count on it!' Blake teased.

Thomas' goal for 2025 was also related to performing live as he revealed: 'I think a milestone for me next year... I've always wanted to be able to headline a baseball stadium, and we're gonna get to do that for the first time next year, which is very exciting.'

The father-of-four, whose wife Lauren Akins admitted to resenting him, continued: 'It's been something we've been working our whole career to get towards and that is going to be probably one of the most memorable moments in my career, so [I'm] looking forward to that.'

Teddy Swims, who recently collaborated with Thomas on the song Somethin' 'Bout A Woman, said of his year ahead: 'Try to make sure that instead of planning so much, I think I'm in a very good place currently where there's always people planning on my behalf, so I try now just be as present as possible in moments.

'And I just want to keep that present mindset at all times,' Teddy added.

Cody, who won the CMA Album of the Year last month, said of his upcoming concerts 'We are playing bigger shows, so with the release of Leather: The Deluxe Edition, my goal is to make the setlist a little bit different, to bring a couple of different elements to the stage that I haven't had the opportunity to do yet.'

He then added of his goals for 2025: 'This is gonna sound really cliche, but go back to my carnivore diet, get in better shape and ride more horses!'

Fellow country singer Hardy revealed: 'This upcoming year, I would love to learn how to play piano and get really good at it,' while Dasha's goal wasn't related to music at all.

'I wanna play more volleyball!' the 24-year-old singer songwriter admitted.

'I play in this rec league in Nashville, but I'm never home - but I'm home in January and February, so girl's gonna be in the gym playing volleyball!'

Ernest, who worked on Post Malone's country album this year, also opened up about his hopes for 2025 and said: 'I want a song to go number one at Country Radio with my voice on it.'
