Tommy Lee slams artists for promoting their music during LA fires: 'Jesus Christ leave it all alone'

Tommy Lee furiously hit out at his fellow musical artists who continued promoting their music online during the catastrophic Los Angeles fires.

Beginning last Tuesday, the area was struck by its worst windstorms in over a decade, fueling fires that have destroyed thousands of structures and claimed at least 25 lives over the past week.

One blaze in the Pacific Palisades has consumed a number of celebrity homes, including residences owned by Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Mel Gibson, Tina Knowles and Anna Faris.

Lee owns a house in Brentwood, a neighborhood near the Pacific Palisades that was also affected by the fire, but it is unknown whether the building is safe.

In a furious Instagram post this Monday, Lee, 62, hit out at what he regarded as the bad taste of other celebrities in their reactions to the disaster.

'Makes me f***ing sick, to see most people just caring on a posting lame a** social media!' the Motley Crue drummer wrote.

'Guys right now nobody gives a flying f*** when your record drops or when the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time!' added the ex-husband of Pamela Anderson.

'I get that some comic relief is always need but Jesus Christ leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can.'

Lee did not name any specific artists as targets of his post, but FKA Twigs and Bad Bunny have both continued promoting their new albums over the past week.

Last Thursday, a couple of days into the fires, Motley Crue posted an official statement responding to the situation on Facebook.

'To everyone affected by the devastating and unprecedented fires in our hometown of Los Angeles, our thoughts are with you during this very difficult time,' they wrote. 'May you and your loved ones stay safe as we stand together to overcome.'

Lee purchased his own Zen-inspired Brentwood home in 2021, paying $4.15 million for the four-bedroom residence, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Spread across a half-acre, the estate includes waterfalls and stone walkways, as well as artisan woodwork like Japanese tansu cabinetry and Brazilian mahogany.

Lee lives in the home with his fourth wife Brittany Furlan, 38, a Vine star whom he has been married to since Valentine's Day 2019.

His previous marriages were to Elaine Starchuk, Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson, the last of whom is the mother of his sons Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 27.

Lee and Anderson were one of the most famous showbiz couples of the 1990s, tying the knot just four days after they first met each other.

Their relationship fell under intense public scrutiny when a video of them making love was stolen and leaked, launching the first major celebrity sex tape scandal.

They ultimately divorced in 1998 after Lee physically abused Anderson, but the pair managed to develop a friendship as they co-parented their sons.
