Hilary Duff puts her toned pins on parade in a tiny leather skirt as she gets to work on the set of TV show Younger

They say if you've got it, flaunt it.

And, clearly, that's a maxim Hilary Duff agrees with - as she proved when she stepped out in New York City on Thursday afternoon.

The blonde beauty, 28, put on a leggy display while heading back to her trailer on the set of TV Land series Younger, in which she stars.

Dressed to impress, the former child star was clearly all grown up as she flaunted her perfect pins in a leather wrap-around skirt.

Part of a co-ordinated ensemble, she matched the look with a hummingbird-emblazoned blouse and long, grey waistcoat.

Capping the look with matching ankle boots, she had obviously spent time creating her latest look, which she anchored with her blonde hair in a casual side-parting.

The actress plays an ambitious young editor who befriends an older coworker, played by Sutton Foster, who is passing as a twenty-something in a bid to restart her career. 

Joined be an equally well-dressed co-star, the former Lizzie Maguire actress accessorised with a bottle of water and a tote bag.

However, off-set she is just as busy as her on-screen character.

The busy star is mother to three-year-old son Luca, from her marriage to hockey player Mike Comrie. The pair married in 2010 and divorced earlier this year.

In addition to long days on set, Hilary, who released her latest album Breathe In Breathe Out in April, has recently released a new single.

The track, Youngblood, sees Hillary pair up with the fictional rockers Jem And The Holograms, and will be the lead single for the new movie's soundtrack.
