With many dressed in the Spanish giant's famous white, the colossal crowd went berserk for the squad as their coach approached the ground.
Ear-splitting chants of 'Hala Madrid' greeted manager Zinedine Zidane and his players, including former Manchester United favourite and current Ballon D'Or holder, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Many fans held flags and scarves in the air, while others lit up the welcome party with flares and smoke bombs.
After drawing 0-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final at the Etihad Stadium last week, Real - currently third in the Spanish league - will be going all out to see off big spending Manchester City in the hope of reaching the final of this year's elite European competition.
