She's only just returned from a sun-soaked break in Mexico.

But Julianne Hough didn't waste any time in getting back into her fitness regime.

The 27-year-old Dancing With The Stars professional showed off her toned abs and long slender legs as she headed out in her gym gear in Los Angeles on Sunday, following a tough workout.

It was almost beyond belief the blonde beauty had just got a sweat on, as she looked as stunning as ever.

She wore a black sports bra - perfectly framing her toned arms and abs, showing off her slim figure.

Julianne paired it with slim-fitting Lycra leggings, covered in a bold black, white and grey pattern and matching trainers, with a black jumper tied casually around her waist. 

The talented dancer wore her locks back in a no-fuss bun, as she strolled while chatting on the phone, with water bottle and car keys in hand.

Just days earlier Julianne had arrived back from spending a week with her gal pals at the Beauty Coach Retreat Weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

The star was probably keen to see her new fiancé Canadian hockey star Brooks Laich. The couple got engaged in August after dating for a year and a half. 

Julianne recently told People she loves being engaged: 'I’m just feeling so happy and blessed every moment of every day. My favourite thing about being engaged is just a sense of warmth and just joy.'

Elsewhere, fellow Dancing With The Stars professional, Karina Smirnoff was taking a break from rehersals, outside the dancing studio in Hollywood on Sunday.

The 37-year-old looked ready to hit the dancefloor in laid back ensemble of loose-fitting grey tracksuit bottoms, and a baggy blue jumper, layered on top of a white T-shirt.

She paired the sporty look with black trainers, and pulled her long glossy hair back in a casual pony tail.
