'My boobs are too big': Ellie Gonsalves admits she never thought she could make it as a model due to D-cup breasts
She's modelling for the likes of Guess and appeared in a Super Bowl ad for Yellow Tail wine.
But breaking into the hyper-competitive modelling industry wasn't always plain sailing for Ellie Gonsalves, 26, who once feared her D-cup breasts would get in the way of a career.
Ahead of an appearance at the Portsea Polo Match, the model opened up to the Herald Sun this week about her body image concerns.
'I just had these big boobs': Model Ellie Gonsalves, 26, has opened-up about her initial rejection from modelling agencies, saying she thought it was because her breasts were too large
'I just had these big boobs and I was thinking I am not going to be successful at what I am doing because my boobs are too big,' she told the publication.
'But I decided I was going to embrace how I look and make that a positive thing.'
Despite now having an Instagram following at 1.6 million strong, the shapely brunette put rejection down to experience.

'I started out modelling when I was quite a young kid,' she told the newspaper.
'I was a bit too much or not enough of something for the modelling agencies when I hit 17 or 18 and I was turned down by a lot of them.'
In the past, the model has been open about her support of mental health initiatives, after enduring the pain of her father committing suicide.

Last September, the model and actress opening-up on Instagram about her father's death two years prior.
'I lost my dad to suicide two years ago and we didn't really think he was capable of doing what he did,' she said.
The model was critical of the 'R U OK' Day initiative, saying we shouldn't wait until one day of the year if someone needs help.
