Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have been turning heads for weeks after a series of bizarre interviews during the Wicked press tour - and now yet another cringeworthy moment has caught fans' attention.
In another bizarre clip, which went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, Cynthia broke down in tears over wearing her character Elphaba's green makeup on set.
The two women sat down with a reporter for Pink News last week to promote their highly-anticipated movie adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical.
During the interview, Cynthia, 37, appeared visually emotional as she explained that removing the green makeup everyday made her feel more comfortable in her own appearance.
The clip showed Ariana, 31, who also appeared emotional over the comment, clutching Cynthia's hand and breathlessly praising her beauty.
Film fans had a lot to say about the clip, with some joking the interview looked like 'an emotional support group', while others said the uncomfortable press tour has turned them off going to see the movie.
Cynthia said: 'I am a person and I feel, and I have feelings, and I can share them.' Ariana interjected saying: 'And if you need to cry right now, you cry.'
The actor continued: 'Someone said to me once that the green was what I loved the most about Elphaba and I would want to stay green, but actually being green, yes, I loved playing this character but every time I took the makeup off I loved who I was even more.

Through tears she added: 'So I have come away feeling really beautiful.' Ariana added: 'You f***ing are! Holy sh**, you know?'
At the end of the clip the reporter explained it was her first junket and the pair praised her efforts.
Ariana said: 'Well you have been the light of the day, you have been a gift.' Cynthia added: 'You brought such light into the room, thank you very much for coming into this room today, we needed you to come in.'
Taking to social media, movie fans claimed the awkward interaction turned them off seeing the flick in the cinema.
One person wrote: 'I’m old enough to remember when press junkets made you want to go see the film.
Another added: 'I'm so turned off by the advertising of this film. I refuse to see it.'
Another said: 'Wow….I’m going to not watch this even more than I was planning on not watching it.'
Someone else added: 'You’d think these two idiots had just worked out a cure for cancer.'

Many film fans rushed to the comments with some saying the interview looked like 'an emotional support group', while others said the uncomfortable press tour has turned them off going to see the movie
A fifth said: 'Is there such thing as an anti-ad? Didn't know much about this before but after seeing this interview I know 100% that I have no interest in seeing it.'
It comes after Ariana and Cynthia were mocked again online over a bizarre interaction with a reporter for Out.com last week.
At one point during the interview, Ariana was seen holding onto one of Cynthia's fingers - and the intimate moment has now gone viral on X, formerly Twitter.
During the sit-down, journalist Tracy E. Gilchrist told Cynthia that she had seen some people on social media discussing the 'lyrics of Defying Gravity,' a song she sings in the film, and 'feeling power' from the track.
Cynthia, 37, appeared visually shocked and honored by the revelation, as she replied, 'I didn't know that was happening. That's really powerful. That's what I wanted.'
As she spoke, Ariana, 31, who also appeared emotional over the comment, reached over and grabbed her costar's pointer finger in what appeared to be a display of support - and many people poked fun at the exchange online.
'What was this?' one person wrote on X alongside a screenshot of Ariana's hand wrapped around Cynthia's finger.
'Is this a sketch comedy show or something?' asked someone else. Another user added, 'The finger grab,' along with a skull emoji.
For some fans, the tear-jerking moments have been a little too much
Another viral clip is the latest in an emotional press tour from Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, saw them repeatedly break down in tears while discussing the film
Fans of the much-anticipated 'Wicked' film have been left baffled by an 'uncomfortable' interview with its two stars
In the interview, for Out Magazine, journalist Tracey E Gilchrist mentions the film's closing number - 'Defying Gravity' - and claims people are 'taking the lyrics' and 'really holding space with that'
'Watching this makes me feel like I'm huffing gasoline, it's so surreal, like why is Ariana holding her singular finger like that?' read a fourth tweet.
A fifth said, 'The part that gets me is Ariana just grabbing one of Cynthia's fingers and holding and shaking it for comfort.
'Like not even her hand? Just her finger?'
'Ariana Grande holding Cynthia Erivo's finger has made me laugh out loud three separate times,' announced a different person.
Elsewhere in the same interview the journalist mentions the film's closing number - 'Defying Gravity' - and claims people are 'taking the lyrics' and 'really holding space with that'.
Erivo holds her hand to her chest, and says: 'I didn't know that was happening. That's really powerful. That's what I wanted.'
The exchange quickly gained traction on social media, with fans of the film baffled by what the conversation even means - and the fact it relates to a 20-year-old song.
One person said: 'I'm holding space for the video about holding space for the Defying Gravity lyrics. I don't understand what holding space means or why it's so powerful but I'm holding space for the potential to understand the space I'm holding.'
Another added: 'I've watched this like 30 times, and I still can't parse a single thing going on here.'

A third asked if the cast of 'Wicked' are okay. She said: 'I am obsessed with whatever on Earth is going on with the cast of Wicked. Every press interview I've seen has been bizarre.
'Are they okay? What is happening?'
Another person said the interview in general had 'weird and uncomfortable vibes'.
Ariana and Cynthia have been traveling the globe together over the last few weeks to promote their roles in the long-awaited flick, which hit theaters on Friday, November 22.
They have participated in a slew of interviews and red carpet events in the lead-up to the film's release, but have continuously faced scrutiny over their behavior throughout the press.
In particular, many social media users have commented on the fact that the women often break down in tears while discussing the movie.
During an appearance on the Heart Breakfast show this week, Cynthia explained why they often become emotional.
'Every interview I've read of you and Ariana, it just says that you end up in tears all the time,' host Amanda Holden said to Cynthia.
'We do. And I think it's because people have come in with such energy and they come in, their responses, their emotional responses come into the room with us, it's the first time we've been able to talk about it, so we're both reliving and rehashing all the things we've been through and the journey we've been on,' Cynthia responded.
'We can't help it, we get very emotional about it.'
