'I’ll be sharing selfies of my swim body all season long and hope that women across the country feel inspired to do the same,' Ashley said.
The size 14 model from Lincoln, Nebraska, kicked off swimsuitsforall's #MySwimBody campaign on Thursday afternoon by taking to Instagram to share a sultry image of herself posed in a studded black one piece.

'First, let me take a selfie. I joined @swimsuitsforall's movement & this is #MySwimBody,' she wrote. 'I challenge @PhilomenaKwao to show me hers.
'Post your swimsuit photo & tag #MySwimBody, then nominate your friend to do it. It’s the summer of #MySwimBody [sic].'
Philomena followed Ashley's lead and after she posted her swimsuit photo, she asked Amanda to do the same. When she shared her own image on Instagram, Amanda tagged Nicola in the post and asked her to do the same.
Ashley appeared in last year's history-making campaign from the brand, which was the first ever plus-size ad to be selected to grace the pages of the publication's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

It has been an amazing few months for Ashley, who also covered Maxim, and a special plus-size edition of Glamour magazine within weeks of each other.
However, when it comes to the controversial term plus-size, Ashley said she wish people would do away with it.
'For the last 16 years, I’ve been called a plus-size model and I’ve never really embraced the term,' she told People. 'I’ve just taken it for face value because that’s exactly what people just called me.

Superwoman: 'So excited to be a part of the new @swimsuitsforall summer campaign! #MySwimBody,' Amanda wrote when she shared her selfie
'Personally, I am not a fan of the word for myself because I think it just puts me in a box and it keeps me there.'
Ashley explained that for so long in the fashion industry there had only been one standard of beauty, but curvy women are finally starting to be embraced in the mainstream because 'a lot more women are asking for it'.
The body activist often shares sexy selfies of herself modeling lingerie and swimsuits on her Instagram page using positive hashtags such as #BeautyBeyondSize and #ThickThighsSaveLives.
'I got made fun of for them my whole life and now I’m being praised for my thick thighs and they have saved my life and I want to women to know that their thick thighs are saving their own lives,' she explained.
