Michelle Obama has broken cover in her first video on Instagram since she and her husband Barack were hit by rumors of divorce.
The former first lady posted a clip announcing her partnership with her charity Reach Higher and the American School Council Association.
Sporting a chic patterned blazer, roll neck top and chunk statement earrings, Michelle thanked school counselors across the country who she called the 'beating heart' of the education system.
'This critical work often gets unnoticed and that's why for so many years I have been working to make sure that they get the shine they deserve,' Michelle said.
The former first lady looked noticeably more fresh-faced than in the gushing birthday tribute posted by her husband last month.
Michelle's latest video comes as divorce rumors continue to swirl around the married couple of 32 years.
Speculation first began to mount after the former Obama attended former president Jimmy Carter's funeral alone.
Michelle was then notably absent at President Donald Trump's inauguration last month.

The couple, pictured at the Democratic National Convention in August, have been besieged by divorce rumors since Obama attended former president Jimmy Carter's funeral alone
However, the couple have been careful to put on a united front of late.
Last week, Obama made it clear that he and his wife are a team in a statement regarding the horrific plane crash in Washington, D.C.
The former president, 63, used collective terms such as 'our hearts break' and 'Michelle and I send our prayers' in a subtle rebuttal to the wild speculation.
It came one day after the couple released another joint statement announcing that The Obama Presidential Center would be honoring Hadiya Pendleton.
Hadiya, an honor roll student, was murdered in 2013 just days after performing with her majorette squad at the second inauguration of Barack.
And on Michelle's 61st birthday last month, Obama attempted to shutdown the speculation once and for all with a gushing tribute to the 'love of his life' Michelle.
However, the embattled former leader has been facing a fresh controversy over his forthcoming Obama Presidential Center.
One of the main firms building the nation's first black president's library is being accused of racial discrimination by one of the project's black-owned local subcontractors.

The Chicago-based community center has been beset by problems almost since its inception.
The library faced a lawsuit over its proposed location, ballooning costs and construction issues which mean it is on track to set a record for the time elapsed between the end of a presidency and the opening of a namesake museum.
At least some of the donors the couple has turned to over the past few years are now backing down, according to the Daily Beast.
Among them is Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, who bailed the Obamas out in 2022 with $100million each, boosting the year's total to more than $311million.
