Melania Trump smiled as she appeared to share a pleasant moment with Barack Obama as they sat side by side at Barbara Bush's funeral on Saturday.
However, her interactions with the Clintons did not seem as warm judging from video footage of the event.
Video of the procession shows Melania take her solo seat next to Barack and Michelle as Bill and Hillary Clinton sit the furthest away.
As the Clintons read the service program and Michelle sits patiently, Melania appears to say something comical to Barack.

She sat next to Obama and did not appear to have much contact with the Clintons

President Trump did not attend the mass in order to 'avoid disruptions due to added security.'
This is not at all uncommon for a sitting president, with Obama opting not to attend the funerals of both Nancy Reagan and Betty Ford. Mrs Bush's son was not at the funeral for Lady Bird Johnson in 2007 when he was president.
He headed off to the golf course on Saturday but then left, tweeting: 'Heading to the Southern White House to watch the Funeral Service of Barbara Bush. First Lady Melania has arrived in Houston to pay our respects. Will be a beautiful day!'

Before getting back on Air Force One, the First Lady shared a photograph of herself with Texan authorities to thank them for 'ensuring the safety of everyone today'
