However, she sounded optimistic that she could reverse the trend.
'I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean,' she added.
At the time, she revealed that she was weighing in at 162 pounds, meaning that she is now down about eight pounds.
She shared then that her ultimate goal was to slim down to around 110 pounds.
Amanda previously revealed that her struggles with her weight had been an issue for years.
In a 2015 interview with Paper, the All That actress admitted to have 'definitely abused Adderall' in pursuit of a slimmer figure.
While she was filming the 2007 Hairspray remake, Amanda recalled 'reading an article in a magazine that [called Adderall] "the new skinny pill" and they were talking about how women were taking it to stay thin. I was like, "Well, I have to get my hands on that."'
However, she admitted to 'faking the symptoms of ADD' during appointments with a psychiatrist in order to get the prescription.

After a 2013 psychiatric hold, Amanda was placed under a conservatorship run by her mother. It was dissolved in March 2022 after both agreed Amanda was ready to take care of herself
Amanda's latest attempts to lose weight and focus on her health come over two years after the end of her nine-year conservatorship.
In 2013, the former child star was put on a psychiatric hold after starting a fire on a stranger's property.
She hasn't spoken negatively of the conservatorship in the way that Britney Spears has, even though fans of the pop singer had also advocated for Amanda to be freed from her conservatorship.
Amanda's mother Lynn Bynes, who became her conservator responsible for her health care and personal matters in 2014, reportedly agreed with her daughter's desire to regain her independence, and the conservatorship was dissolved in March of 2022.
