Katie Holmes' daughter Suri Noelle surprised her backstage at the Barrymore Theatre in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday by serenading her with happy birthday alongside the cast and crew.
In an Instastory posted by the Dawson's Creek alum, the 18-year-old Carnegie Mellon University freshman belted the song while holding an old Robert Redford headshot emblazoned with 'Happy B-day Katie!'
Suri previously warmed her pipes to sing a cover of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's 1934 classic Blue Moon for Katie's second directorial feature Alone Together in 2022 as well as a different song for her third directorial effort Rare Objects in 2023.
'Well, I always want the highest level of talent, so I asked her,' Holmes told Yahoo! Entertainment at the time.
'She's very talented. She said she would do it and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That's the way I direct in general. It's like, "This is what I think we all want and then go do your thing."'
Suri traveled all the way from Pittsburgh, PA to see the empty nester act in Our Town and give her a beautiful bouquet of purple roses.
