I'm A Celebrity's Caitlyn Jenner, 70, is given a heroes welcome by her campmates... after her famous family SNUBBED her jungle exit

She narrowly missed out on a place in the final four.

But I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Caitlyn Jenner was given a heroes welcome by her fellow campmates as she arrived at her hotel after being voted out of the jungle.

The Olympic champion, 70, was greeted by her jungle pals after MailOnline exclusively learned that campmate James Haskell greeted her across the bridge, following fans' fears that none of her family had jetted out to greet her.

Mere hours after her jungle exit, Caitlyn was seen heading into the famous Palazzo Versace Hotel which houses all of the I'm A Celebrity contestants.

As she climbed out of the car the Keeping Up The Kardashians star was embraced by some of her fellow campmates, including Andrew Maxwell and Ian Wright.

Among the crowd were many of the celebrities' loved ones including Jacqueline Jossa's husband Dan Osborne, and Kate Garraway's husband Derek Draper.

Caitlyn was voted out of the jungle in a double elimination that aired on Friday night, and fans couldn't contain their upset when it appeared that no one was there to greet her on the famous bridge.

But on Saturday MailOnline exclusively learned that campmate James Haskell surprised Caitlyn on the bridge after asking to go out to the camp to ensure that someone was there to meet her.

As Caitlyn exited her car and headed into the hotel, James could be seen following close behind her.

An eyewitness said: 'James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge and sat with her for the entire leaving process.  

'Caitlin walked over the bridge, exclaimed to James ‘"it’s you!". They embraced, both were welling up.  

'James accompanied Caitlin throughout the entire eviction process and then when it was over they went for a Starbucks together to talk about the show and life in general. There’s a definite real friendship there.'

Caitlyn then revealed in an Instagram story posted in the early hours of Saturday morning that her partner Sophia Hutchins, 23, was waiting to surprise her back at the hotel. 

In the clip, Caitlyn enjoyed some pampering while speaking to the camera she said: 'Just got out the jungle and finally getting my hair and make-up done and boy do I need it.

'Haven't had it in weeks but when I came out the jungle, where I had a lot of great friends but I had a big surprise when I got back to the hotel... Sophia's here!' 

The camera then panned to reveal Sophia smiling beside her partner. 

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here continues tonight at 9:20pm on ITV.
