Country star Sam Hunt arrested AGAIN over driving-related incident six years after 'wake-up call' DUI

Country star Sam Hunt was arrested for speeding and violating an interlock device in Henderson County, Tennessee.
The I Met A Girl hitmaker, 40, was taken in to custody last week on January 20, as per TMZ. He was released on $1,500 bail the same day.
Hunt's lawyer cleared the paperwork in court this week, and there will be no charges.
The singer-songwriter — who's currently expecting his third child — received a speeding ticket which he plans to pay.
The interlock device in his car — a breathalyzer that stops people from drunk driving — most likely stems from his 2019 DUI arrest, which he called his 'wake-up call.'

In April of last year he told Taste of Country Nights that his DUI was a 'wake-up call.'
'Well, it was a wake-up call immediately, you know, the next day. I think over time, you know, you reflect on it, you realize, you know, you learn from your mistakes,' he said.
In 2019 he was booked in a Metro jail in Nashville, Tennessee, at 6:30 am on charges of driving under the influence and having an open container, according to the Metro Nashville police department.
Hunt was swerving and then 'crossed the center divide several times in his vehicle' along Ellington Parkway claimed TMZ.
Police told the site that he 'smelled of booze' and had bloodshot eyes.
And there were allegedly two empty beer cans next to him in his car.
The site added that 'while he was searching for his ID, cops say it was very openly sitting on his lap.' He also showed the officers a credit card and a passport instead of her driver's license.
Hunt took a field sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol level of .173. That is more than twice the legal limit.
He had admitted that he had been drinking that night, the site added.
Hunt posted a $2,500 bond and was released.

Hunt was born in Cedartown, Georgia.
He played football in high school and college then pursue a professional sports career.
But then in 2014 he signed with MCA Nashville.
Hunt is known for his unique blend of country, R&B, and pop influences, and hits such as Body Like a Back Road and House Party.
His debut studio album, Montevallo, broke several chart records with five singles like Leave The Night On.
In 2020 he released his second studio album, Southside. He's also released a number of EPs and Mixtapes.
The musician has been nominated for five Grammys over the years, but has yet to win.

The Hard To Forget singer shared the exciting news during an appearance on Audacy's Katie & Company podcast.

'Both my wife and her sister have one on the way, too,' Hunt expressed during the recent episode. 'It is about to get real. I'm elated. I can't wait.'
Fowler's due date is in May.
Hunt later revealed his plans to take time off from touring in order to focus on raising their children.
'I'm hopefully - in the next couple years - going to take a break from touring,' the singer stated. 'The crowds have been so great, and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they're able to come with me...'
'And while people are interested in coming to see us, because I don't want to take that for granted.'
Sam and Hannah first met in 2008 until their split in 2016 when he moved to Nashville to pursue his passion for music.
However, the pair soon rekindled their romance and became engaged in January 2017 - and said 'I do' during a romantic and intimate ceremony in Georgia in April of that year.
Following five years of marriage, Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt in February 2022 - and accused him of 'adultery' as well as 'inappropriate marital conduct.'
A few months later in April, she called off the divorce with a source telling Entertainment Tonight at the time, 'Sam and Hannah are working on healing their relationship.'

Their daughter Lucy was born the following month in May 2022 - and in October 2023, their son was born.
Shortly before the baby news was revealed, Sam has been keeping busy and dropped his latest single titled, Liberty.
The track officially released on November 1 - and he also celebrated the 10th anniversary of his debut album Montevallo the month prior.
