Kate Ferdinand flashes her abs in a plunging white cardigan as she enjoys a festive girls' night out

Kate Ferdinand took some time off parenting duties to enjoy a festive girls' night out on Wednesday.

The former TOWIE star, 33, put on a glamorous display in a plunging white button up cardigan which teased a hint of her cleavage and toned abs.

Kate teamed the look with grey jeans, heels and a black handbag and styled her blonde locks in soft waves.

The reality star took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie from the bathroom of her outfit before posing for a group shot with her friends.

She captioned the post: 'Girls night'.

It comes after Kate celebrated her son Cree's fourth birthday with husband Rio, daughter Shae, 17 months, and step-daughter Tia, 13.

The family headed to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve earlier this week where they fed giraffes and also watched tigers prowl from their observatory.

She said that since the injury they have been dealing with 'sleepless nights' as he recovers.

Kate has remained open candidly her struggle adapting in a blended family, admitting she 'overthinks' her actions when it comes to caring for her stepchildren.

During an appearance on Virgin Radio she explained: 'My family are so accepting. They love me. It's nothing to do with them. I just always will feel a little bit worried, and it will be a little bit of a struggle. I don't think the box is ever fully ticked.

'I think sometimes I can mistake them just being teenagers that don't listen. I start thinking, "Oh my god, is it me? Is it because I'm their stepmum?"

'And every now and then I just have to sit back and say, "They are teenagers and this is what teenagers do." But you can be a little bit more sensitive.'
